I think she is the ultimate of Divas and I had the opportunity to meet her when she came to Houston and did a promotional concert for Bathhouse Betty. She gave a concert at Richs and all proceeds were donated to the Montrose Clinic to help in AIDS treatment and research. I have followed her career since the first time I heard "Wind Beneath My Wings" in 1987. I have seen her 3 times in concert and when I met her, I could do nothing but smile and tear up.
