Okay for those of you fans out there that tuned in you probably noticed the casting changing time and time again. There were a total of 3 Roys (only 2 made it to screen), and 2 Roses (only one made it to screen)....but of course through it all there could only be one BETTE!....
Here's what I was able to put together about the cast quite a lot of talent in that show that's for sure!

So without any further ado... lets meet the cast pre-show, and those that made it to screen....

Bette Midler (as BETTE!)

Of course stating the obvious, however, I couldn't put up a cast page without her. If you want to know what she's accomplished in her career, go back to the main page and start readin'... There's singin', dancin', actin', directin', writin', cleanin' (the environment), producin', performin', being a wife and mother, AND she's even co-hosted a talk show... far too many things to put into detail in a mere paragraph or two in here.

Many changes were made from the original press that came out regarding Ms. M's show. The part of Roy, her hubby was to have been played by actor James Naughton (Ally McBeal's father on Ally McBeal). However, when the time came for the filming of the pilot, Kevin Dunn was in the part. Aside from the initial casting list in the press, no other mention of James Naugton was given and the reasons for him not doing the part are unknown.
Now the original casting announced that the part of Rose, Bette's daughter would be played by actress Lindsay Lohan (Disney's 1998 "The Parent Trap"), even the original publicity photos included her. Miss Lohan did appear in the pilot episode. However, Miss Lohan decided to stay in NY with her family, rather than moving to the east coast for filming. The part was recast with actress Marina Malota.
